These rental vacuum dewatering boxes are designed to be used with air-mover vacuum trucks as they suck up liquids, dry materials, wet-dry mixes, and sludge. Now your truck can remain on site and in continuous service, storing what it has collected in a specialized, waste removal container. Our Vacuum Roll-Off Boxes Provide:

  • 1/4″ PL one-piece floor
  • Crossmember (3 x 4.1 channel 12″ on center)
  • 1/4″ PL solid welded walls and roof 
  • Inside liner hooks
  • Structure with tubing and formed channel supports rated to operate at 30″ hg
  • 1/4″ PL door with tubing frame
  • 1/4″ PL front with push plates
  • Pick-up via standard cable with 2″ x 6″ x 1/4″ rails, gusset at each crossmember
  • 4 wheels, each 10″ Dia. x 9″ long with grease fittings
  • Door latch with 4 independent ratchet binders with chains, vertical second latch
  • Extruded rubber seal gaskets with metal retainers
  • Continuous welds, except substructure crossmembers
  • Finished inside and out with direct to metal, rust-inhibiting acrylic enamel color coat

What is a vacuum box?

A vacuum box, also called a vac box, is a sealed roll-off container built to hold material under negative pressure so it can be loaded directly by a vacuum truck. Instead of filling the truck's own tank, the truck moves liquids, sludge, and wet solids straight into the vacuum container. Ironclad Powered by Mersino's vacuum roll-off boxes are rated to operate at 30″ hg, with 1/4″ PL welded walls, floor, and roof and extruded rubber seal gaskets.

What is a vacuum roll-off box used for?

Vacuum boxes handle environmental remediation and cleanup operations. They also work at chemical plants, paper mills, petroleum refineries, and pipelines. A common job is sludge and solids disposal, where a vacuum truck transfers waste, such as unit maintenance at a refinery or chemical manufacturing plant. Across industrial sites, a vacuum box is the right tool anywhere a vac truck is collecting wet or dry material and needs somewhere to put it.

How does a vacuum box work with a vacuum truck?

The vacuum truck connects by suction hose and its air-mover system draws liquids, dry material, wet-dry mixes, and sludge into the box rather than into its own tank. Because the roll-off vacuum container holds the load, the truck stays on site and in continuous service instead of driving each load to a disposal point. Filled boxes stage on site until they are hauled.

What is the difference between a vacuum box and a dewatering box?

A vacuum box is sealed to receive material under vacuum from a truck. A dewatering box uses filtering and drain systems to separate fluid from solids, cutting weight and volume before disposal. Projects that both collect and reduce industrial waste often use each in turn, and Ironclad Powered by Mersino's 25YD dewatering vacuum roll-off box combines both functions in one container.

What other equipment can I rent with a vacuum box?

Ironclad Powered by Mersino rents the rest of the setup alongside the box, including frac tanks and poly tanks for liquid storage, plus pumps, hoses, and filtration. Renting the equipment from one source keeps the waste management chain on a single account rather than split across vendors.

How is a vacuum roll-off box picked up and transported?

Pick-up is via standard cable with 2″ x 6″ x 1/4″ rails and a gusset at each crossmember. Each box has 4 wheels, each 10″ Dia. x 9″ long with grease fittings. The door latch uses 4 independent ratchet binders with chains plus a vertical second latch, which keeps hazardous and non-hazardous materials contained and supports safety in transit.
